Fantastic program!
My daughter (10 yrs) loved going to "horse camp" as she called it. She has completed an entire year of the program and she really enjoyed it.
Stable Hands Program Premier Hands-On Equine & Farm School (ages 5–18) Dear Parents, Give your child a meaningful, skill-building opportunity at Middleton Stables. The Stable Hands Program is a structured equine and farm school that provides hands-on learning with horses and farm animals in a safe, small-group setting (maximum 12 students per 90-minute session). It is designed to build confidence, responsibility, teamwork, and practical real-world skills. Program Structure • 6-week spiral curriculum: Core topics are taught, reviewed, and expanded each week so children steadily deepen their knowledge and abilities. • Fall Semester: 1–12 weeks (September–December) — $900 • Spring Semester: 1–18 weeks (January–May) — $1,350 (School costs just $50/hour of fun & instruction time)!!!! What Your Child Will Learn • Basic horseback riding (mounting, dismounting, walking, halting, trotting, and emergency techniques) — included every other week, weather permitting. • Care of horses and farm animals, barn and stable management. • Horse anatomy, breeds, and proper preparation for working with animals. • Project-based learning, journaling, and occasional guest visits from equine and farm professionals. The program blends solid education, animal handling, and character development in a nurturing farm school environment.
